Confessions of A Shopaholic.

So I could start this off by describing all of the wonderful and exciting things I have done this past month (which was not blogging, obviously). However, I have come to the conclusion that I have nothing to blame this very overdue post on. Wow, my life is quite a bore. So, to sum up, sorry readers for leaving you hanging for so long…I know all of you were on the edge of your seat just waiting for me to write.
I went shopping today! Got some pretty great things. Intermix was my first stop – bad decision (sorry, credit card). I raided Nordstrom after as well as every other store in Northpark Mall. Sadly I have no one to take pictures of me today modeling all of my new purchases, and I will not stoop so low to do the awkward, not to mention embarrassing, “mirror-pose;” so, the above items are the soon-to-be-worn (out) items I now own! Don’t let the horrible styling fool you. All of the pieces are fabulous. I wanted to get more sweaters and J Brands from the Mix, but I heard voices in my head (no, I am not crazy) telling me to stop.  Plus, the oxfords are in one word, perfection. I just hope they are more comfortable than my last pair from Jeffrey Campbell. As you can gather, I am very happy with my selection. You know what I was not happy about? When I got home today, I got the mail and actually looked through it before throwing it on the island in our kitchen. I had mail! This never happens. Excited, I went through the few envelopes marked to me and collected my season 4, disk 2 Criminal Minds DVD from Netflix (now you know what I will be doing for the remaining hours of my Saturday), a random postcard offering me health insurance (strange), and finally, a gift card from … Intermix. I was so annoyed. I just spent over the amount needed to even use this card and it doesn’t start until tomorrow. Just my luck. Oh well, I guess this means more J Brands – one can never have too many – and the Rebecca Minkoff wedges (see below)!
Okay, I am done writing pointless things on this pretty Saturday when I have a psychologically creepy yet very exciting television show to watch. I hope you’re happy, Margaret, I finally blogged for the fourth time. Happy day everyone!
